Capture Korea : 멀티 영상 기반 3차원 실사 모델 생성 및 활용 기술




[과제 수행 기간: 2012.04.01 ~ 2015.03.31]

사용자 기반 멀티영상을 활용,  대상지역의 3D 실사모델을 효율적으로 생산하는 기술을 개발

1) 기존 고비용/고사양 3D 실사모델 구축 방법을 극복하고

2) AR/VR 콘텐츠 개발에 활용하여 새로운 비즈니스 창출 기회 확보

 

참여 사항: Geometrical mesh compressor, Semantic Levels of Details 3D Mobile Streaming, WebGL based Non-photorealistic rendering by Sementic Levels of Details  




1. Semantic LOD Streaming services

Streaming services based on Android Device(Galaxy Note 2, Loading speed below 500ms)  by Semantic Levels of Details







2. Non-photorealistic Rendering by Semantic Levels of Details

Device : iPhone 6+

FPS : 12 + (over than 12)


with 88 BDLGs.


Lv 1. 

target BDLG : realistic model.

The others : merging or toon shading (by distance)


Lv 2.

Lv 1. + all BDLGs are covered with silhouette shading.


Lv. 3.

+1 Target BDLGs : Bling Bling effect,

+Landmark : Blue outline effect. (Refer to video below)









3. Navigation based on Multi- gesture interaction

Gesture : KINECT / Touch : iPhone 6+ (Left , right by swipe, Zoom in and Zoom out) / Remote Touch (When your android device is used as remote controller, you can navigate with your android device by touch) / Phone-cursor : your android phone is a 3D cursor to navigate 3D virtual city.
